Placing an Order

How do I place an order?

Place products in your shopping cart by selecting the number of items and clicking "Buy Now."  At the next screen, you can remove items from your cart or update the quantity of any item in your cart.  When you're ready to purchase, click "Checkout.”  The next screen calculates the total price; click “Checkout” again to go to the billing and shipping information page.  All fields preceded by an asterisk on this page are required fields.  Click “Go to Payment” to enter your credit card information, then, click “Submit.”  After submitting your order, you’ll receive an order confirmation number that you can use to check the status of your order. 

 What if I change my mind about items in my shopping cart prior to placing my order?

You may update your order by adjusting the quantity of any of the items in your shopping cart. You may also remove items by clicking the Remove Item link or by clicking the “Clear All” button at the bottom of the shopping cart page. You may continue to add items to your cart as usual by returning to the catalog.

How do I know what my shopping cart total is?

The subtotal is always displayed with your shopping cart.

Can I check the status of my order?

Yes. You will receive an e-mail accepting your order and it will include the order details. It will also include a link to an “Order Status” page where you can enter your order confirmation number and check the status of your order.  You may also click on the tracking number to check your order’s shipping status.  Orders are shipped within four to five weeks of the order date. 

 

Method of Payment

What is the accepted form of payment?

Credit Card:  All prices on this site are in U.S. dollars and you may purchase with your Visa, MasterCard or American Express. For your protection, the name and billing address you enter must exactly match your credit card billing statement so we may process your order.

Your credit card is charged at the time your merchandise is shipped.  After your credit card is charged, your credit card information is deleted from our system.  You will be notified by Email if you Credit Card is declined.

 

Shipment Information

Where can we ship?

We ship our products to most domestic destinations.  Certain restrictions may apply to some locations.

Do you ship to military bases?

Yes. Delivery may take up to 2 additional weeks.

Do you ship to post office boxes?

No. UPS requires a physical street address.

Do you ship to personal mailboxes?

No. UPS requires a physical street address and will leave the package on the doorstep.

Do you ship to rural route numbers?

Yes, however, it may take additional time for the package to reach its final destination.

Can I send items to multiple addresses?

Yes. Separate orders must be placed for each shipping address.

How will I know that my order shipped?

Customers receive an e-mail order acknowledgement as well as a shipping notification. You may click on the link in your e-mail to track the status of your order. Or, you can return to this Web site, click “Order Status” and enter your order confirmation number. 

 

Calculating Shipping Time/Costs

Shipping is Free. Allow 5 to 6 weeks for delivery

Tax Information

How is sales tax calculated?

Sales tax presented on the purchase page is an estimate based upon the ‘shipped to’ address. All state and local taxes will be calculated and charged once the product is shipped. The total price shown at the store may be slightly lower than the total amount billed to your credit card.

Product Return Information

If a product is defective, you may return it within 60 days of receipt for a refund or, if available, an exchange. Please contact GeoDirect Customer Service at 1-888-436-9957.

 

Credit Card and Personal Security

Is it safe to use my credit card online?

Yes. Internet security has come a long way from its inception, and GeoDirect uses the latest technology available because we value our relationship with you as a continuing customer.

Address Verification System (AVS): The billing address you enter must match exactly the address where your credit card statement is mailed. This helps protect against people using a stolen credit card to place an order.

How do I change my billing/shipping information?

You can enter a different shipping or billing address on the Billing & Shipping Information page.

Fraud Protection

We recommend that all customers who are shipping to addresses other than their billing address notify their credit card company of the alternate shipping address. This process is becoming a standard and credit card companies are happy to assist you. Simply call your credit card company and let them know you are placing an order via the Internet and would like to give them (bank) an alternate shipping address.
